It seemed *things* had a will of their own at times. I now understand that I had some functional disconnects between my motor system and my conscious\/volitional system that generated enormous frustration (part of why I was not able to learn to play music until I was an adult)&#8230; when I became aware of &#8216;poltergeist&#8217; phenomena, it was like &#8216;everything was suddenly explained&#8217;&#8230; only, of course, it was an explanation that, however &#8216;satisfying&#8217; or &#8216;explanatory&#8217; it seemed on some levels at the time, proved to be a fugue of invention and rationalization.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>People who believe they are possessed live in a world of fevered imagination disguised (to them) as correlation and connection&#8230; it becomes self-fulfilling, in terms of increasing dysfunction and despair.
